Notes:
What happens in the future ?
Broadcasting conferences online has already been a routine habit for computer conferences a long time and will be routine for lions in 2-3 years
Paper forms are not necessarily needed. They are there for clubs that want to use them but a proportion of clubs prefer to send the data online
In 2-3 years we will not anymore need district Internet councils or specialists to help people to use the net. We do not have specialists to help people use the TV, telephone or fax. Editors and writers are still needed though, and that need is getting bigger. Everybody should be able to publish on the Internet
In 5-6 years the TV and internet integration is widespread and small handheld devices that combine todays GSM phones, electronic calendars and e-mail and web workstations are in virtually every businessman’s pocket just like the GSM phone is today. All clubs have at least somebody online. Paper forms are still used, but the forms are copied from the net and printed at home.
