Many clubs have the misconception that is is expensive to publish things on the Internet. This is not true. Although commercial internet service providers may charge high prices for space on their servers and their help in creating the pages, these are not needed in Lions work. We have a brilliant international group of over 100 experts ready to help and we can direct clubs to places where they get free server space. Expensive commercial web page design tools can be nice to use but they also make all kinds of assumptions about what you want which may be wrong. They’re OK to get you started quicker but you still need to learn the basics yourself to have full control. A normal person with some experience in typing and word processing will learn enough in 30 minutes.
Basically the whole large LionNet has been contructed without spending a penny. The absolutely highest cost so far in LionNet’s history has been my flight ticket to Zürich !
