Notes:
Point one is: be careful with copyrights and trademarks. Lions Clubs International is very carefully protecting its rights to the Lions trademarks and you re definitely not supposed to start selling what ever you like on the net under the Lions name. Likewise, you are not supposed to all by yourself start calling your club page “LionNet Myplace”. The LionNet name, logo and slogan are all copyrihted design items that are only intended for national and international level cooperation use after getting an authorization.
Worst it is though with music, copyrighted cartoon images and copyrighted photographs. Although it is technically very easy to place some nice background music on a page that will lead the reader to the “right feeling” while viewing your page, BE CAREFUL ! The organizations that look after the copyright rights of composers and music playing artists are doing “police work” on the net and it may well cost you several thousands of francs, even several hundreds of francs per month if you are caught with publishing copyrighted music.
Page designs are also under copyright protection. Do not copy without asking !
And have a look at europe.lionnet.com/copyright.html !!
