Notes:
Some clubs and districts make nice looking pages that unfortunately do dot address the question “why are they there” ? To an occasional reader it would just seem like the club in question wanted to “be there” because all the others are there also, but the point is missing.
Similarly, often the lions err into using the special Lions jargon, to use all the funny combinations of letters that immediately tell another lion that a person or a thing is of high importance but that do not convey any meaning whatsoever to outsiders. What is a “PID” for an outsider ? “Personal Identification Code” of a bank card or a very honored person ??
One other point is also that we shouldn’t take for granted that all people know where we are from. There are by far too many Lions club site that just have two letters like “CA” for instance with no country indication in their address and the creators think that all the world knows that it stands for “California”. I have been many times asked where Finland is, not just where Lions Club Espoo/Meri is from. We should tell them.
