Notes:
Very often it is the one computer literate in the club or district that gets the idea of putting things about the Lions club on the internet. But clubs and districts should take care of these people. If a website is handled by just one person and especially since keeping a website living, interesting and good it needs a lot of weekly if not daily attention this might easily become a burden for the webmaster. Now if he or she does not have the feeling that he/she is getting the proper help, support and ideas the website will soon be gone. Or will just be one more old relic with a lot of outdated information on it.
In several countries the national webmaster has been given a formal position in the MD hierarchy. For instance in some countries the national nodemaster is invited to participate in all council of DGs meetings to get the information. In some other places like Finland for example we have an MD level working group to support the national nodemaster.
