C. Robert Rettby

A special moment for Lions Switzerland-Liechtenstein

On 6 July 2026, at the International Convention in Hong Kong, C. Robert Rettby was elected International Third Vice President of Lions Clubs International.

We wholeheartedly share Robert’s joy at this great expression of trust from Lions around the world. His election recognises many years of commitment, shaped by experience, reliability and a deep connection with the people in our organisation.

Robert listens. He brings people together, approaches different cultures with openness and always puts service to others at the centre. He never seeks personal attention. What matters to him is what Lions can achieve together for people and communities.

This success would not have been possible without the support of many people. Our thanks go to Robert’s family, the campaign team, and all Lions and Leos from Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Europe and around the world who have accompanied him on this journey. Every encounter, every conversation and every gesture of friendship has contributed.

His election opens a new chapter. In the years ahead, Robert will take on responsibility in Lions’ international leadership, promote dialogue between the different parts of our worldwide organisation and help shape its continued development.

We are proud that a Lion from our multidistrict has been entrusted with this responsibility. Even more, we are delighted that Robert can now place his experience, humanity and passion for Lions at the service of the entire international community.
